Pastor: Wes & Rebecca Flaugh

Pastor Wes Flaugh has been the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church since the summer of 2018. Wes graduated from Bible Baptist College in 1998 with a degree in Theology and Pastoral Ministries. It was at Baptist Bible College, in 1996, that Wes met, and married his beautiful wife, Rebecca.  Upon graduating Bible College, Wes and Rebecca left Springfield, Missouri to serve as the youth pastor of Current River Baptist Church in Doniphan, Missouri. In 1999, Pastor Wes was called to serve as the senior pastor of Current River until July of 2013. It was in Doniphan, Missouri that the Lord blessed Wes and Rebecca with four wonderful children, and many incredible memories.
Pastor Flaugh now has the distinct privilege of serving at Calvary Baptist Church, where the Lord is blessing greatly. He, and his family, feel honored and privileged to be a part of such a tremendous church.
Youth Pastor: Craig & Kelly Sands

Pastor Craig Sands surrendered into the ministry in May of 2000 while a member of Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Okla. and was liscensed to preach by the Pastor at Illinois River on February 24, 2003. In 2007 accepted the Pastor position at Hillside Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma in 2007, and was ordained as the Pastor there on February 24, 2007. Today being the Youth Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church since 2017, I have a desire to see the youth of today develop a love and hunger for God’s Kingdom, that will allow them to grow and mature into functional church members. Most people today see the Youth as the church of tomorrow, but I believe that the Youth are the church of today! With all the temptations that they face today,  I try to teach them basic biblical principles that will allow them to succeed in today’s world.

Along with my beautiful wife Kelly,  we completely give ourselves to our ministry, and we desire to see the youth grow and become everything that God has called them to be!

Deacon: David and Robin Wofford
Soon…. very soon.. Here in this exact spot will be a really great bio about David and his Wife. It will tell of all sorts of great accomplishments!!  However, after thinking this over it hit me..  the only accomplishment that matters for David and for me.. and you and all of the world is that day we accept Jesus into our hearts and become born again. That is the Great Accomplishment that matters most!! Accepting Christ and becoming saved!!!
